Faculty Improvement Committee

Committee duties: The committee is responsible for reviewing campus-wide applications of the Faculty Improvement Grants (FIG) in the Fall and Spring semesters. As the committee reviews the applications, they work closely with the Associate Provost and Senior Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs and the Deans of each college. The Faculty Improvement Committee is also responsible for reviewing campus-wide sabbatical applications for the following year, again in cooperation with the Associate Provost and Senior Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs and the Deans of each college.

Time commitment: The committee has three busy periods as they review Fall and Spring FIG applications and the sabbatical applications. During those periods they may meet weekly but outside of those periods they meet monthly or less often.
