Business:
1. Approval of minutes of April 26, 2005: MSP
2. Tabled proposals: See “Tracking Worksheet 2004-05”
for specific details.

4. Review of policy on Undergraduate Extended
Learning Student Admission to the University. UCAP supports the policy
with the following recommendation:
New Language:
“Applicants for limited admission as addressed in this policy must have
completed their high school diploma or GED at least three years prior
to enrolling in Extended Learning courses. Applicants are encouraged to
apply for regular admission to take additional courses beyond the
12-credit limit.”
To Replace Current Language:
“Applicants for Extended Learning courses must meet the following
requirements: (This applies only to students who have not been admitted
through the regular admission process. Students admitted to the
university are eligible for Extended Learning courses with no limit)
• Not yet admitted to the University.
• Have completed their high school diploma or GED at
least three years prior to enrolling in Extended Learning courses.”
Next Meeting: UCAP is done for the academic year.
