Undergraduate Curriculum And Policy
Committee
Tuesday, April 27, 2004, 3 pm Memorial
Library, ML 2042
Present: L. Baures, D. Cronn-Mills, L. Good, K.
Greer, M. Pomije.
1. The minutes of 4/20/04 were approved with minor revisions.
Several proposals were reviewed. Please see appended Excel® spreadsheet for a complete
overview in the academic affairs numerical tracking order.
2. The cultural diversity request component of proposals #256 (DH
438) and #257 (DH 439) was denied by UCAP after review of the
resubmitted syllabi. UCAP members are concerned that the cultural
diversity component is not infused in the curriculum, but is dependant
upon clientele served. These proposals were still given tentative
approval by UCAP as new courses effective 4/20/04.
