Present:  Baures, Brandon, Burkett, Good, Pomije, Rolfes, Ross

1.      Minutes of April 15, 2003 were approved as amended. 

2.    All proposals given tentative approval on either April 15 or April 22, 2003 will be given automatic final approval on May 6, 2003 unless objections are heard.

3.      UCAP acknowledges receipt of the Draft Honors Redesign Proposal dated April 22, 2003.  Individual UCAP committee members may respond to Jasper Hunt.

4.      The following proposals were given TENTATIVE approval:

    #203  MSL 210 (1)  Army Physical Fitness.  Change in course designator.
   
    #204  MSL 299 (1–8)  Individual Study.  Change in course designator.
   
    #205  MSL 403 (1)  Application of Physical Conditioning.  Change in course designator.

     #206  MSL 499 (1-8)   Individual Study.  Change in course designator.

     #208  FCS 443 (3) Older Adult Nutrition.  Course withdrawal.

5.      Since UCAP approved proposal number 207 in 2000, and the course appears in the 2002-03 Undergraduate Bulletin, no action is required.  If future changes are made to the course, new paperwork must be submitted.

6.      The following proposals require no action by UCAP:

     #29     Rendered moot by policy decision with respect to writing intensive courses.

     #42     Graduate proposal only.

     #47     Duplicate of proposal 6.

     #48     Duplicate of proposal 7.

     #57     Graduate proposal only.

     #82GE  AVIA 100 (3)  World of Aviation. Gen Ed approval denied.
 
6.      The following proposals require no action by UCAP: (Continued)
