Approved Minutes
Present: Jim Rife, Warrren Sandmann, Dick Liebendorfer, Kellian Clink,
Ron Nickerson, Chair, Gretta Handke, Johnson Afolayan
1) We reviewed Proposal #11, History 160 and
unanimously approved it.
2) We discussed student appeals. We approved
the form Warren concocted with a few suggestions for
improvements. Students are responsible for making the case for an
appeal .
3) We talked about having a model course proposal
that departments could follow, were happy with using Proposal # 11
(History 160). . Warren can link the form to the model.
4) Upcoming events: GECCIG 8, Global, will meet in
Morris Hall 209 at 2 pm on November 19. Ron will send a reminder
to everyone. Next meeting is Sub Meet and Confer and we will
attempt to finalize approval of the General Education Policy Sheet.
