The Faculty Development Committee supports faculty development at the University. Among other activities, the Committee:
    a. reviews applications for the Teaching Scholar fellowships and makes recommendations to the Administration;
    a. jointly with the Administration, holds an annual workshop for faculty who intend to apply for tenure or promotion;
    c. advises the Coordinator of the Center for Faculty Development; and
    d. hosts discussion meetings on various faculty development issues.
The chairperson serves on the FA Executive Committee, reporting on committee activities and carrying back any EC recommendations to the Faculty Development Committee.
